    New PP coated flanges

Steel and polypropylene in one product: strength and corrosion resistance

Plastek is expanding its range for the transport of corrosive fluids: new loose steel flanges PN10 and PN16 coated in polypropylene are now available, in sizes from Ø63 to Ø355 mm.

The steel core provides mechanical strength and secure tightening, while the PP coating forms a barrier against chemical attack from the fluids and against galvanic corrosion.

In other words: the structural safety of steel with the corrosion-resistance benefits of plastics.

    Main advantages

    • High resistance to acids, bases and many aggressive chemical agents
    • No direct contact between the fluid and the metal part
    • Longer system life and less maintenance
    • Mechanical reliability guaranteed by the steel core

    Plastek production, immediate availability

The flanges are manufactured directly by Plastek and are in stock for fast delivery times. Also available on request with custom markings (logos, codes, identifications, etc.) to simplify traceability.
