Our history
Established in 1989 as a specialist in the production of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fittings, Plastek S.r.l. was originally founded as a subsidiary of Deriplast Spa. Over the years, we have consolidated our position to become a benchmark in the manufacturing and installation of pressure fittings for piping networks.
2005 marked a pivotal milestone in our journey: with the acquisition of 100% of the shares by the current CEO, Plastek embarked on a path of full independence. This strategic move allowed us to enhance our production capabilities and establish a strong, autonomous presence in the market.
Today, in addition to supplying standard and custom fittings, we provide on-site welding services both in Italy and abroad, supported by a team of highly specialized technicians certified according to the UNI 9737 standard.
Our mission
Plastek S.r.l. designs and manufactures high-performance HDPE fittings for piping networks (up to 25 bar). Fully compliant with international standards, we provide a comprehensive range of standard and custom-engineered solutions based on client specifications.
We specialize in injection-molded and large-scale segmented fittings, with production capabilities up to Ø2000.
With a strong global presence, we export Plastek’s technical excellence across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and the Americas, serving as a strategic partner for major infrastructure projects worldwide.
Our certifications
Plastek PE 100 fittings are certified to EN 12201-3, the European standard for plastics piping systems for water supply and for drainage and sewerage under pressure, by Bureau Veritas and INSTA-CERT, independent product certification bodies.
Our quality management system is also certified to ISO 9001:2015 by SQS, covering the production of PE fittings by injection moulding, turning, butt-welding and mechanical processing.
The certifications are subject to periodic renewal by the certification bodies and give our customers a guarantee of compliance, consistent quality and reliability, even in the most demanding infrastructure projects.

Certified expertise
Plastek’s quality doesn’t end with the supply. Our on-site welding service, active in Italy and abroad, is entrusted to specialized technicians certified according to the UNI 9737 standard – a guarantee that accompanies the customer from design through to the commissioning of the system.
